GDPR مخفف عبارت General Data Protection Regulation به معنی «مقررات محافظت از داده‌های عمومی» است. قانون GDPR در پارلمان اتحادیه اروپا به تصویب رسیده و به همین خاطر در کشورهای عضو این اتحادیه و کشورهای وابسته لازم‌الاجرا است. اتحادیه اروپا در سال‌های گذشته همواره قوانینی را برای حفظ حریم خصوصی و جلوگیری از سوءاستفاده‌ی شرکت‌ها از داده‌های شخصی کاربران به تصویب رسانده است. حالا این قانون، دست شرکت‌ها را برای سوءاستفاده از داده‌های شهروندان اروپا، تا حد زیادی می‌بندد. طبق این قانون، شهروندان اروپایی مالک داده‌های خود هستند و شرکت‌هایی که این داده‌ها را جمع‌آوری می‌کنند، برای این داده‌ها از حق مالکیت بهره نمی‌برند. افزونه Cookies Policy Notification Bar افزونه ای جهت مدیریت کوکی ها می باشد .درواقع این افزونه به کاربر اطلاع می دهد که سایت با توجه به قانون GDPR در حال جمع آوری داده های او است و در صورت عدم موافقت او می تواند این مورد را قبول نکند. باتوجه به اینکه قانون GDPR برای کشورهای اروپایی است بنابراین در ایران استفاده از چنین افزونه هایی چندان کاربرد ندارد و تنها برای سایت های خارج از کشور ، یا سایت هایی که قصد فعالیت بین اللملی دارند کاربردی خواهد بود.

Duration (The duration of message (in seconds). After this time, the notification bar will disappear).
Animate Duration (The duration of the animation will run (in milliseconds). Default is 2000.).
Limit (The limit of how many times, the notification bar, will display if visitor not press the button).

WHY YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THIS PLUGIN?

On 26 May 2011 the European Commission made the controversial 'Cookies Directive' law. It applies to the UK and all european countries. It mandates that the use of cookies on european business websites must be disclosed and explicit consent for their use be obtained from your users, however in the UK the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) has suggested that it is sufficient to work on the basis of implied rather than explicit consent.
