    You will need the latest version if you plan on using google maps with it. Google just changed how they do things and you now need an API key to display maps with this extension. This version does not have the option to put in an API key.

    hello I have download an old version of this component twice. I download the J-Kontact quickstart, which include J-Business component and J-Business 4.6.5. But they are not exactly the same. The one I download with the template J-Business Kontact includes some more features as conferences, speekers. I would like to ask you if this update include this features. My question more specifically is that if I update J-business 4.6.8 with the another template different over the version 4.5.6, it will bring up those features which are missing and include in J-Kontact. They are both J-Business directory same version 4.5.6 but for whatever reason they do not have the same f unctions on the control panel either in the menu.

      Hi, you right. J-Business in J-Konnect has more features. we not tested if you install latest version, what will happen to those features. It will good if you backup your site and test it and write here result. but if you check jbusinessdirectory.xml in J-BusinessDirectory, you will see that 3 menus (CONFERENCES, SPEAKERS, SESSIONS) are commented.

    I download the update and install in both sites. Here are the conclusions. It depends on the original installation. If you have installed J-Konect quick start and, you update on that installation then you maintain the characteristics of that installation. And, on the contrary, if you have installed J-Business directory originally the extra features of the J-Konect installation do not appear. To match them, in my case what I have done is uninstall the J-Business component of the J-Konect installation, and install the J-Business 4.6.8 update. But I have lost the features in the J-Konect original installation (CONFERENCES, SPEAKERS, SESSIONS) so they are now the same in both. Maybe there is some way to incorporate them but I do not know how to do it.
